EV Charging

By 2035, the UK are banning the sale of new petrol and desil cars. Following this, all new car sales will be Electric Vehicles (EVs). With this comes an increase in demand for EV Charging Points. The existing infrastructure for electric vehicle charging points must expand to meet the growing demand. This project aims to contribute to this expansion in all regions, encompassing cities, towns, and rural communities alike.

EV charging provides a modest source of income for the church and helps with your journey towards being carbon neutral. The minimum number of parking spaces to be converted to EV charging is two, and you must own (not rent) your car park. The scheme is equally open to urban and rural churches.

We can assist you in playing a part in improving access to reliable EV infrastructure for those passing through your parish. By accessing the Parish Buying EV Charge point framework, your church will have access to professionally procured suppliers who meet the requirements for EV charging within a church environment. We have procured contracts, ensuring the supplier covers 100% of the installation and maintenance costs. To ensure that this project helps with the drive towards net zero, all energy supplied to the charge points through this project will originate from green or renewable energy tariffs.
